Sephora Mini Haul

I stopped by Sephora today to pick up my friend's powder brush that she wanted and something that I may want if I see it.  After some deep thought and browsing around, I was deciding between the Dior cream and the YSL matte and radiant powder.  Turns out, I needed the Dior cream more.

I guess not a lot of Beauty Insiders are up to date on the Sephora sales.  When I went to the cash to pay, the girl standing beside me overheard me talking about the 15% sale and immediately asked for her discount.

What I got:
Dior Pro-Youth Comfort Creme - $65 CAD
Sephora Round Powder Brush #120 - $52 CAD

Discounted:
$15.21 CAD

Total after discount and tax:
$112.38 CAD

Haul: Urban Outfitters + Sephora + Le Chateau

UrbanOutfitters.com had a $10 shipping option about 2 weeks ago and today, my shipment finally arrived.  According to their website, shipments to Canada should arrive within 10-12 business days and mine came on exactly 10 business days.  =) Best thing is my package was able to skip customs.
Yet, I didn't get much on UO and spent $66.37 CAD.  With shipping, I spent $77.37 CAD on this package.

1.  Title Unknown Dreams Oversized Fringe Tee - $25.49
2.  Sparkle and Fade Paperbag Short - $29
3.  2 pairs of Pointelle Tight - $5.94 each

Overall, I'm pretty happy about this purchase.  However I do wish the shorts didn't come so wrinkly. =\

Last week, I dropped by Sephora to see what I can get with my gift card and I came home with a bottle of Urban Decay Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray.  It cost me $39.55 CAD with tax, I really should've bought it when I was in Vegas in August =(.  The price there was $29 USD.  Anyway I've been using it since I bought it and I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase.

Last Sunday, my mom got a 50% off all purchase ticket for Le Chateau Outlet for up to a maximum of $100.  We spent a good 3-4 hours at the outlet trying on clothes and we bought a few pair of dress pants.  I saw this pair of sunglasses with UV400.  I'm loving them! =) I love how nerdy yet unique they look.  And even though I prefer my dark shades, I would still wear these as accessory eyeglasses.  The best part of buying these glasses was they cost me $1.50 with the discount! =D

Haul: @Sephora - B. kamins, Dior, Tarte

Yesterday, I stopped by Sherway Gardens and Yorkdale Mall to go to Sephora and make good use of their 15% off sale.  =)  But oh dear, I def made some major damage to my wallet yesterday.  Then again I'll def stop spending for the next month or so.  I may be going to the next Shiseido warehouse sale and the Lisa's Cosmetics sale, but even if I go, I'll probably not spend anything on myself.  Anyways, back to what I spent on yesterday.

I originally wanted to pick up the Fusion Beauty Anti-Redness Primer but I tried it on my hands and it doesn't really neutralize the redness as well as the Makeup Forever one.  For some reason, I never thought of picking up a bottle of Makeup Forever Green Primer when I was Sherway Gardens.  So by the time I went to Yorkdale's Sephora, they didn't have any left.  =(  I might pick up a bottle the next time I go by a Sephora.

Anyways, I def did pick up the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissful.  This cost me $33 CAD but with additional 15% off, it came up to $28.05 CAD.  I chose Blissful over Tipsy because the colour is more settle and not too corally.  As much as I love coral, the colour just doesn't look too flattering on my skintone.  =(

Next I bought a Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in 256 Negligee Pink.  It's a pretty nude pink, very glossy and no shimmers.  I've never owned any Dior lip products so I thought I might as well splurge a little money on a Dior lip gloss.  It cost me $31 CAD but with additional 15% off, it came to $26.35 CAD.

Finally, I picked up a B. Kamins skincare set.  LOL I think I'm starting to love their products because of the Bamboo & Rice Facial Polisher.  The makeup artist @Yorkdale's Sephora recommended me this product because she saw me picking up a jar of Nurture Me by Ole Henrikson that is designed for rosacea cheeks - in other words, my broken capillaries.  She recommended I'd try out the B. Kamins because it's more of a complete set that will last me a month to try out and she gave me a small sample of the Nurture Me cream.  But I mainly got sold by the B. Kamins set because she put on the 'Soothing Skin Concentrate' on my hand and because it's teal-coloured, I immediately saw the difference it made.
Anyways, this skincare set cost me $65 CAD but with additional 15% off, it came up $55.25 CAD.

In additional, the cash gave me some samples - Dior One Essential and Lancome Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate.  She asked if I wanted to redeem a 500-point perk.  I had to decide between a Boscia skincare set and a Smashbox makeup set.  So I decided on the Smashbox one.  =)

All in all, like I said, my shopping trip has majorly damaged my wallet.  I'll have to build some self-control for the next month or so.

SO, reviews will def be coming soon.

Haul: January

Yes, I have spent my first 2011 makeup haul @Sephora.  It wasn't much.  I picked up the Duo eyelash glue and a small 2-pack Evian facial spray.  I've used the facial sprays in the past, during my high school days, but randomly stopped using them.  Now I'm using them again to avoid moisture loss throughout the day or when I'm done setting my make up.  It's very convenient to just toss in your handbag and go out the doors.
I decided to redeem 100 points for a sample of Dior Pro-Youth Sorbet Eye Creme.  I'm also looking to try out different brands of eye serums or creams out there.  I also picked up a sample of Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Eye and Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex.  Tried it out two nights in row, I felt there was a small change, nothing drastic.  My skin felt softer the next morning.  My eyes look less puffy due to lack of sleep.  The wrinkle below one of my eyes looked a little less sunk in.  Temporarily, I know these products do work.  But I'm doubtful whether it will consistently do its job.

Prices:
Duo eyelash glue - $10 CAD
Evian facial spray - $12 CAD
Dior Pro-Youth Sorbet Eye Creme sample - Free

Haul: Sephora (December 2010)

As I wrote in my last post, I had to decide on what to purchase using my $15 off my $40 minimum purchase @Sephora.  And here is my haul.

I guess they were selling out of the Shiseido SPF50 Sunscreen due to the BI promo but I managed to spot the last one.  With the promo, it cost me $40.25 CAD.
Then I got a UDPP Professional size (0.85 fl oz) for $28.75 CAD, normally retails for $35 CAD.  I was contemplating on getting this when I found the Shiseido Sunscreen, because I could have saved more on my Shiseido Sunscreen.  But thinking twice about it, the UDPP pro size is a little more than 2x the size of the UDPP original ones (0.34 fl oz), which usually cost $22 CAD a bottle.  So clearly, it's worth it to purchase the pro size one using the BI promo discount.

Anyways, I got use my Sephora $50 GC.  Well it came in pretty handy today as I paid $29.92 CAD for my two items.  The two things I bought came up to $79.92, which is weird because the receipt says the subtotal is $69 CAD.  Tax should technically be calculated upon the subtotal, so it should have been $8.97 CAD but my receipt says $10.92 CAD.  This means Sephora calculated tax before the promo code was applied to my purchases.

Sephora Wish List

I still haven't used my Sephora Beauty Inside promo coupon - spend $40 and get $15 off.  Today's the last day to use it and I'm still contemplating on getting Dior foundation or not.  But I know for sure that I want to get a pro size UDPP, and probably Shiseido's 50 SPF one in 100 mL.  =( Or maybe I'll get Laura Mercier's Tinted moisturizer. Ugh, so hard to decide!

Wish list:
1.  Dior foundation (undecided on which one)
2.  Pro size UDPP
3.  Shiseido's sunscreen
4.  Laura Mercier's Tinted moisturizer

Gift cards

On my birthday - Sep 10, my friend and her sister got me birthday gifts from Aritzia and Sephora, respectively.  My friend got me a TNA gym bag, but I returned it for a gift card since I find the gym bag was pretty heavy.  Plus, there wasn't anything I found to be nice at the store.  So I've decided to wait for the next season's new arrivals.

As for the Sephora gift card, I'm waiting for Sephora's 10% sale.  I think it's 10% sale, or was it 15%? But I remember they had a sale during last year's September and this year's January - which was the time when I got my Clarisonic =) .  I'm not craving for anything from Sephora right now.  Neither is there anything I necessarily need.  Hmm... Any recommendations? Anything I should give it a try?
I'm considering of getting something from Benefit, since I've never tried their products.  But I don't know what to try.  =\
